Thursday, September 4, 2008 @ 7:41 PM  who knows crackin an egg cud be so difficult! bahas. ms posing. me n him as backdrop. bahas.today's de baking day.. hmm, lets see.. to start off de day, i was an actin housewife.. bahas.. cleaned up de house.. sweep de floor halfway.. den realised i was gnna be late.. so i rushed and went to sheng siong to get de bakin stuffs.. on my own! can u believe that..? i mean i went to shops before, but to shop in a supermarket i rarely go to on my own! i was so pleased with myself.. hahas. siao. kept callin azhar, mum n dad bout whther i was gettin de right stuffs and all.. hahas. little did i knw so much effort goes into gettin de stuff.. de price and de quality.. hahas. i was gettin gd at it. de total bill= ka-ching!! Ohh..hahas. nvm. its my $$ neways.. i din felt de pinch tho.. realised i was gettin late, so i went back.. and waited at de bustop.. met up with ms, den we waited for him.. saw his new haircut.. its nice, its just so him. den we went back, cleared a few stuffs here and dere, and officially started bakin at 11am.. we were bakin halfway when merv and dan came by.. our head of QC department.. hahas.. dey watched soccer match n popped by evry now n then.. dey had to leave soon, so dey tasted de very 1st cookies, gave positive feedbcks and left shortly after.. me ms azhar ventured on to do 2 other cookies.. believe it or not, we did 3 kinds of cookies in 3 hrs!! woohhoo!!! first we did de brown edge wafers, next, almonds-choc chips shortbread cookies, and finally choc chips meringue.. in all, ms liked de 2nd one de best.. me too.. kaes, at first i started out pretty stressed.. hahas. cos i was pretty much an amateur baker.. hahas. but after flattery here n dere.. de fun just kept on buildin up..hahas i had lotsa fun, i hope u guys did too..=) dere were more things to be happy about.. lets just say mum's pretty impressed.. after breakin fast, mum was pretty happy to tell dad all de details.. wait a min, who likes him neway? mum or me? hahas.. wat a funny interrogatin session i had with both mum n dad.. we're just good frens larss.. what are de chances it cud develop? but im just glad we're good frens.. overall, i love today!! shall invite more frens to bake more cookies or cake in de next few weeks to come.. weee!! =) |
