well, as much as i sound excited, im not really. my new yr eve was spent differently dis time. in 2007, i called up mj from like 10 or so and chatted with her till countdwn. it was fun, makin fun of celebs on tv (so bad ar), and countin dwn wit her over de phone! on 31st dec 08', i went to school, initially we had plans to do our report, but thankfully(HAHAS), de library closed, so we gals decided to hang out for awhile.. so we chose clarke quay, i think i've been dere once only.. walked and took pics, and just took a breather.. and walked to raffles place, cos i was meetin another friend.. and then, headed dwn to cityhall. Gdness craziness of it all. SOOO MANY FREAKING PEOPLE. hahas, wells expected but ya. went to chill at coffeebean. walked about, made my way home by 9+. by de time i got home, i was super tired. cos unlike de rest of dem who went pubbing, or countdwn. dey went hm first, and rested before gg out. for me, i just spent de whole day on my feet. new year or not, nothing much changes really. its just a way of telling urself, its a new yr, perhaps dis time roun, sths different gnna happen. so for some, its a new start. with new yr resolutions and all. for me, i just want dis yr to be as memorable as it can be. my family. my friends. my loves. and evryone else. and i certainly hope SITI NUR ZAKIAH can be a better person each day. =] hope evryone else had a wonderful new yr's eve yest. |
